Hello,

SiteKiosk is using the installation routine of the Microsoft Installer (msi).
Which SiteKiosk version and operating system are you using?

The message "Service not available" could mean that the SiteKiosk Privileged Call Dispatcher Service is not running on your machine.

The MSI error 2738 does mean “Could not access VBScript run time for custom action”
Here is the complete list of “Windows Installer Error Messages“:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa372835.aspx

To uninstall SiteKiosk without the Microsoft Windows Installer you should use the “Windows Installer CleanUp Utility” you can find here:
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B290301&x=15&y=9

After you have deleted SiteKiosk from the list of installed Windows programs with this utility you have to proceed as follows:

- Delete the SiteKiosk user at -->Contol Panel-->User Accounts
- Delete the SiteKiosk folder which is normally placed at “C:\Program Files\”.
- Make sure that the folder of the SiteKiosk user has been deleted at “C:\Documents and Settings\”.
- Delete the Registry folder “PROVISIO” at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\.
