Hello there!

I have an ELO ET4201L touch display that is running SiteKiosk. It was set up to be a demo device in a model home for a home builder that my brother-in-law works for. They gave away the device in a company raffle that he won, but it is locked by SiteRemote/SiteKiosk. They did not give/have any credentials to unlock the device and release it from the house demo software. He asked if I would jump in and help out since I work for a tech company.

What would be the best way to format the device and restore standard functionality apart from SiteKiosk? I don't have any access to the system or preferences once the device boots up.

Thank you for your inquiry. You can find the tips here in our FAQ post to exit SiteKiosk: https://www.provisio.com/en-US/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=364 . Also you can click the 4 corners of the screen clockwise or counter within 3 secs. If the SiteKiosk version is not registered, any password will work. Otherwise you will need to contact the Manufacturer of the device or Microsoft about how to reinstall Windows on the device.
