Support Request: NV9, SiteKiosk crashing

Description

I am trying to configure a NV9 bill acceptor (ccTalk, USB interface) to be used with SiteKiosk. When using ccTalk interface plugin, it detects the device but immediately crashes. SiteKiosk configurator cannot be started again without restarting Windows.

Otherwise NV9 is working and installed properly, tested with manufacturers test and programing software.

I am attaching LOG files. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I am sorry but SiteKiosk 8.x is out of support.
Also note that SK 8.x is not supported on Windows 10.

But here some hints that may help.
As far as I can see there is a problem with initializing the device via ccTalk:

Therefore you first should verify that the NV9 is available at Com port 5 and if the NV9 really does use ccTalk or e.g. still uses the Smiley protocol.
If it still uses the smiley protocol you should switch to it in the SiteKiosk configuration (as far as I remember the NV9 was supported in SK 8.x only with using the smiley protocol – it has to be configured on the NV device: https://www.provisio.com/web/uk/features/payment-devices >>>Bill Acceptor: Smiley NV 4/7/8/9/10)
Further information you should find in the local help file for SiteKiosk 8.x on your computer.

Otherwise you should check with using the most current SiteKiosk version 9.7 (the license for SK 8.x is not valid for this version but you can test before purchasing any license):
