FAQ: Using Video Files for Digital Signage

Description

When using video files for Digital Signage we recommend to use the h.264 format.

For Android devices please consider the guidelines from this page: http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/media-formats.html

If you are not familiar with codec formats and video settings you may use any video converter tool (like e.g. the open source tool Handbrake http://www.handbrake.fr) to convert the video into the appropriate video format (Handbrake provides a presetting for Android Tablets).

When using Windows Vista it is recommended to install the K-Lite codec pack offered during the installation of SiteKiosk (for h.264 support).
