Support Request: Disable Start screen completely OR disable interaction

Description

Hi,

Is it possible to disable touch or clicks on the SiteKiosk start page?

We are facing an issue with sitekiosk that there is a slight delay between Sitekiosk loading up and the program we would like to run starting up. If users click on the start page it puts our program into the background with no way to bring into the foreground again. Is there anything we can do to stop this happening?

Hello,

I am sorry but there is no such function in SiteKiosk. But if you use an IE based skin (e.g. Metro IE) you can use the option “Keep SiteKiosk main window in the background (not TopMost)” at “-->Start Page & Browser-->Advanced” to make sure the SiteKiosk main window does not get in front.
With Chrome Browser skin the main window is set to stay in the background by default.

If that doesn't help you might have to extend your start script you start the external application with and make sure that the window of the external application comes back to the foreground.
Here is an example for an extended watchdog that maximizes the window of the external application automatically when it was minimized:

That first fix telling the IE skin to sit in the background has worked great

Thanks
